Open Clay Shoots
Come and enjoy some clay shooting at our open clay shoots held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at our Lydden Ground, between Deal and Sandwich.
We offer 50 or 100 sporting clays, Skeet and Tiger Tower to experienced shooters.
Our gates open at 10.00am for a 10.30 start, with last entry by 2.00pm*
(*If you want to do 100 birds, do please try to get to us by 1.30pm)
Remember, there is no need to book - just turn up, check-in and pay in the club hut (cash only).
Please note, open shoots are not suitable for novices and you may not bring a novice with you to teach them yourself. Anyone new to the sport should get in touch to arrange a Have-a-Go or lesson.
Prices
100-bird sporting costs £35.00
50-bird sporting is £20.00
Cartridges are also available to purchase at the desk.
Cafe Open
All-day breakfast rolls, snacks and hot and cold drinks are available in the Club hut Cafe.
REMEMBER Fibre wads only
Cartridges can be purchased at the desk or you are welcome to bring your own as long as they are fibre wad. No plastic wads are allowed on our ground. If you bring your own cartridges, please confirm they are not plastic wad at the cash desk.
All shooters and any companions must wear personal protection - eye and ear protection is available free of charge.
Shotguns are available to borrow if you do not have one and/or a license.
